A mobile communication terminal having dual display units and a message writing method using the same are provided to replay to a received message while checking the received text message by using the dual display units in a VT(Video Tele phony) mobile communication terminal structure so that a user can more conveniently make a message. A method for making a message in a mobile communication terminal comprises the following steps of: displaying a received message on the first LCD(Liquid Crystal Display)(S302); displaying a message making screen on the second LCD by interworking with the first LCD(S303); and making a certain message while checking the received message(S304). The mobile communication terminal making a message by using dual display units comprises the followings: the first LCD; the second LCD; and a control unit which outputs a CS(Circuit Signal) to control the execution of the first LCD and the second LCD.
