Producing a pharmaceutical product containing cis-diammoniumdichlorotransdihydroxoplatinum(IV) (oxoplatin), where the composition is a tablet, capsule, coated tablet, suppository, ointment, cream, injection solution or infusion solution of defined composition, comprises preparing an oxoplatin-free base product and incorporating oxoplatin in the base product before pharmaceutical use.
