A method for providing another broadcasting program information in a digital broadcasting receiver is provided to display another broadcasting programming list picture to be separated from a current broadcasting picture when another broadcasting search menu is selected by using EPG(Electronic Program Guide) information and display another channel telecasting plan picture for the same broadcasting and a recording selection menu picture together when a corresponding broadcasting recording menu is selected. When another broadcasting list menu is selected(S21), a microcomputer searches EPG information about other broadcasting programs programmed in a current time(S22). The microcomputer converts and generates the searched EPG information into a current time programming picture(S23). The microcomputer separately displays the generated current time programming picture and a video picture of a broadcasting program currently received(S24). When a certain channel displayed on the current time programming picture is selected(S25), the microcomputer converts the video picture into a video picture of the selected broadcasting program, and displays the converted video picture(S26).
