A mobile communication terminal having a signal processing device by broadcast genre is provided to classify genre according to the characteristics of broadcast signals and control output characteristics according to the genre, thereby improving the quality of broadcasting by adjusting output characteristics according to the broadcasting genre. A broadcast receiving mobile communication terminal having a signal processing device by broadcast genre comprises the followings: a receiver(100) for receiving broadcast signals; a signal processor(200) analyzing the genre of the received broadcast signal and changing video output characteristics according to the analyzed genre; and an output unit(300) outputting video signals according to the video output characteristics changed in the signal processor.
