A refrigerator is provided to control brightness inside of the refrigerator according to an amount of external light. A refrigerator includes a sensor unit(10), a control unit(30), a lamp driving unit(40), and a lamp(50). The lamp driving unit supplies power to the lamp. The control unit controls the lamp driving unit based on a signal measured at the lamp driving unit and the sensor unit. The sensor unit utilizes a device to control an intensity of current with an intensity of light. The sensor unit is capable of detecting an amount of light and brightness outside of the refrigerator by being installed on an outside of the refrigerator. A door switch is a switching device installed inside of the refrigerator to supply power to the lamp inside of the refrigerator by allowing the door switch to be a close state. And, if the door of the refrigerator is close, the door switch is open to stop the supply of the power. |
