<p>PURPOSE: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to improve the quality of definition by compensating the delay of driving signals by a gate line. CONSTITUTION: An LCD consists of a pixel display unit(41), a gate driver(42) and a source driver(43). The pixel display unit includes plural gate lines(G1,G2-Gn-1,Gn) crossing with plural data lines(D1,D2-Dn-1,Dn), TFTs(Thin Film Transistor) formed at each cross, pixel electrodes(CLC) and storage capacitor(Cs). In the gate driver, plural signal transfer patterns(44_1,44_2-44_n) are connected to an intermediate point of each gate line to transfer driving signals of the gate driver to the gate lines. An insulating layer is formed between the signal transfer patterns and the gate lines to connect the gate lines with the signal transfer patterns electrically through a contact hole. The signal transfer patterns are connected to the intermediate point of the gate lines to transfer driving signals to a gate line. Thereby, the transfer path of the driving signals output from the gate driver is reduced to a half. The driving signals fed to a gate line(Gn) are proceeded in both left and right directions from a point having a contact hole(54).</p> |
