#CMT# #/CMT# The swiveling support for cameras or other optical equipment comprises a fixed, curved base plate with guide grooves along its edges and toothed bars parallel to them near its edges. A similar upper plate (20) with guide grooves (24a, 24b) and toothed bars (25) is mounted on it using a connector with edge strips which have upper and lower grooves. These engage with the grooves on the plates.
