A water-filter mounting structure for a refrigerator is provided to reduce a manufacturing cost and improve compatibility of products by installing a water filter in an installation space which is formed on a deco cap. A water-filter mounting structure for a refrigerator includes a dispenser(32), a water filter, a deco cap(40), and a shielding member(46). The dispenser is installed on a rear plane of an outdoor(30) which forms an outer plane of a storage space door. The dispenser discharges water or ice through a recession unit which is exposed to a front plane of the outdoor. The water filter is installed on a filter receiving unit formed on an upper part of the outdoor, and purifies the water which is provided from a water supply source. The deco cap which forms an upper outer appearance of the outdoor is installed on an upper part of the outdoor. The water filter is installed in an installation space formed inside of the deco cap. The shielding member which shields the installation space of the water filter is installed on the deco cap. |
