#CMT# #/CMT# The device has two shafts (3) with respective cams (2) actuating two inlet valves (1), and two shafts (7) with respective cams (6) actuating two outlet valves (5). The shafts (3, 7) are connected by respective homo-kinematic connections (10, 12) and inter-connected by a homo-kinematic connection (14). The connections (10, 12) comprise tapered pinions (11, 13) that mesh with two adjacent ends of the shafts, respectively.
