A service method of analytic reading information for mass-media contents and a service apparatus therefor are provided to offer customer's reading preference for a newspaper and a magazine to the clients without using search of a research institution. A paper information providing server(50) primarily provides a customer terminal(10) with paper information expressing the mass-media information in an image form through the network and secondarily provides detail paper information to the customer terminal if the customer terminal selects detail reading. A reading status analysis server(60) checks/stores a customer reading time in a time range set after transmission of the detail paper information, makes a statistical customer reading status analysis information for the provided paper information based on the stored customer reading time, and provides the made analysis information to the client. A storing part stores the paper information, the detail paper information, the customer reading time, and the customer reading status analysis information by using a database.
