A vacuum forming method of expandable polystyrene is provided to perform stable uniform cooling by preventing a rapid temperature change of a forming material by injecting cooling water into a mold filled with hot steam. A vacuum forming method of expandable polystyrene includes the steps of: heating a mold to form heating atmosphere by passing steam through the mold in the direction of gravity(S210); primarily heating the forming material by passing the steam flowing from a fixed mold through the forming material and discharging the steam through a ventilating port of a moving mold(S220); secondarily heating the forming material by passing the steam flowing from the moving mold through the forming material and discharging the steam through a ventilating port of the fixed mold(S230); thirdly heating the forming material by flowing the steam from both the fixed and moving molds(S240); and heating the forming material without discharging the steam of the third heating step.
