An apparatus for exfoliating a sheet of a backlight unit and a method for assembling the sheet using the same are provided to exfoliate protection films attached on both sides of the sheet one by one to automatically supply the exfoliated protection films, and allow one worker to assemble the sheet more easily and inspect foreign particles of the sheet simultaneously. A sheet roller(130) is provided within a main body, and installed in a roll type such that a sheet, which overlaps first and second protection films(10,20), is supplied. A first protection film roller(110) is provided at one side of the sheet roller. The first protection film is exfoliated from the sheet, and wound on the first protection film roller. A first motor(112) drives the first protection film roller. A second protection film roller(120) is provided at the other side of the sheet roller. The second protection film is exfoliated from the second protection film, and wound on the second protection film roller. A second motor drives the second protection film roller. A detecting part(150) is provided at an exit of the main body, wherein the detecting part detects the sheets exfoliated from the first and second protection films. A controller controls the first and second motors according to the detected signal of the detecting part. |
