The method involves reading or receiving kernel log (KL) of an external event by a replay process (PRE) executed on a computing system. Message data is transmitted from the kernel log to a destination of recovery application processes, via the replay process towards a communication software agent. The message data is sent from the communication agent towards the recovery processes to trigger the event for the recovery processes. The communication agent is a transfer control protocol (TCP) and an Internet protocol (IP). An independent claim is also included for a system comprising a network of computers implementing an event replay method.
