<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ink for inkjet recording, having excellent stability, highly developing the color on regular paper, exhibiting high gloss on glossy paper, and having excellent jetting stability of the ink from an inkjet head. <P>SOLUTION: The ink for inkjet recording contains water, and a pigment dispersed by using a polymer at least having ≥1.58 refractive index, ≥50 and ≤120 mg-KOH/g acid value, and ≥20,000 and ≤120,000 weight average molecular weight.
