<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor which can extract a manuscript image as one manuscript even when a plurality of labeled back pixel blocks are extracted from a manuscript image read by the image processor. <P>SOLUTION: The image processor includes: a labeling means for giving a unique label number for every continuous black pixel which is a black pixel obtained by binalizing the read data; a noise elimination means for judging that the number of the number of black pixels with a label number for every label number is below a specified value is a noise and eliminating from a processing object; a label number replacing means for replacing all the label numbers of the black pixels which remains after the noise elimination means performs noise elimination by the same label number mutually; a coordinate acquiring means for acquiring the coordinates of the black pixels with the labels; and an extracting means for extracting the manuscript region based on the coordinate information which the coordinate acquiring means acquired based on the coordinate information which coordinate acquiring means acquired. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
