摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To position an output shaft with a C-shaped clip without miniaturizing an actuator. <P>SOLUTION: The differential device stored in a carrier 3 includes a differential case 19, a pinion 5, a differential mechanism 15 including a pinion 5 and side gears 11 and 13 relatively and rotatably connected with the pinion 5, and a differential limit device 17 of the differential mechanism 15. The differential limit device 17 includes an electromagnetic actuator 29. A ring gear 21 which a drive torque enters is fixed on a flange 23 of the differential case 19. The electromagnetic actuator 29 includes an electromagnetic coil 25 and a plunger 27. The electromagnetic coil 25 is arranged at a ring gear 21 side, and is supported by the carrier 3. The differential case 19 constitutes a part of a magnetic path of the electromagnetic coil 25. The plunger 27 is supported by the differential case 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p>
