PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a meter apparatus constituted so as to prevent a indication panel from floating at an edge around an opening, inhibiting the number of components from increasing and improving the flexibility of design. SOLUTION: The meter apparatus (a combination meter) 1 comprises: the indication panel 6 disposed behind an indication needle 5 and having a first opening 6b for exposing an indication needle shaft 11a and a second opening 6c for exposing a light emitting display (a liquid crystal panel) 7; a light shielding member 8 disposed behind the indication panel 6 and having a light source (a group of LEDs) 12 for illuminating the indication needle 5 and the indication panel 6, a window 8a disposed so as to cover the first and second openings 6b, 6c and partially expose the light emitting display 7, a shaft hole 8d into which the indication needle shaft 11a is inserted and a flange 8b for abutting on the edge around the first opening 6b of the indication panel 6; and a case body 2 for backwardly supporting the indication panel 6 and the light shielding member 8.
