PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structurally simple and inexpensively manufacturable electric door lock with a hook, which can be applied to a door lock compatible with a door with a narrow jam, and in which a surely operable hook mechanism is built. SOLUTION: A driving cam plate 61, which is driven via a driving roller 43 by a motor 21 or a thumb-turn, and a driving cam interlocking plate 62, which drives a dead bolt 72 via an interlocking plate 77, are separated from each other, and connected together by means of a driving connection spring 63. Thus, an abnormal operation of the dead bolt 72 is absorbed, and the interlocking plate 77 is brought almost parallel to the movement direction of the dead bolt 72 when the dead bolt 72 reaches a locking position, so that the dead bolt 72 can be prevented being pushed in. A hook member 73, which is provided in the dead bolt 72, is driven in such a manner as to be interlocked with the dead bolt 72, by means of a hook guiding pin 75 which is engaged with a hook guiding cam groove 711.
