PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for conveying bottomed containers capable of rapidly conveying the bottomed containers having various kinds of barrel shapes, unnecessary for changing a die even when the barrel shape is changed, and capable of enhancing the expansion forming of a can barrel. SOLUTION: In the bottom container conveying method for delivering a can 9 between a throw-in turret 12 and a manufacturing turret 13 which are rotated in the directions opposite to each other, a vacuum suction means 24 for holding a flange part 94 of the can 9 has a flange pad 241 to be abutted on the flange part 94 of the can 9, and the vacuum suction means 24 sucks air inside the can 9 via the flange pad 241.
