Colored decorative material comprised of cycloolefin oligomers

The invention relates to a colored decoration material which is composed of a cycloolefin co-oligomer whose refractive index n_D (25° C.) is from 1.50 to 1.60 and whose Abbé number is from 50 to 60. The technical properties of this material, in particular its optical properties, give an excellent suitability as a decoration material.
