<p>In a nailing machine, a contact lever (19) is rotated by operation of a trigger lever (16) and a contact arm (17), and a valve stem (14) of an activation valve (11) is operated by the contact lever (19) to drive a hammering mechanism. An operation switchover member (23) for setting a firing mode by switching it between a continuous firing mode and a single firing mode is provided at the head of the contact arm (17), and a rotation restriction member (27) for restricting rotation of the contact lever (19) is provided at the trigger lever (16). When the trigger lever (16) is operated in the continuous firing mode, an ON state is kept. The ON state is a state in which the contact lever (19) is rotated to activate the activation valve stem (14).</p>
