A microwave oven is provided to connect a rear panel to a cavity by using a bracket to prevent exposure of a screw in the cavity, thereby improving convection performance. A microwave oven includes a main body(20), a cavity(30), an electric component chamber(40), and a bracket. The main body includes a base plate(22), an outer frame(27), and a rear panel(25). The cavity is installed at the base plate of the main body to form a cooking chamber. The electric component chamber is formed between the main body and the cavity and in which various electric components, such as a high voltage transformer, are installed. The bracket blocks a space between the cavity and the rear panel and connects the cavity to the rear panel. The bracket includes flanges extended from both ends thereof, and is fixed to the cavity and the rear panel after the flanges are contacted to the cavity and the rear panel.
