<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a membrane electrode structure capable of maintaining a shape and a structure as an electrode film without deforming or flowing out of a system, even if a gelatinous electrolyte changes its phase to a sol state by temperature rise, and to provide an energy device such as a fuel cell using such a membrane electrode structure. <P>SOLUTION: In the membrane electrode structure made by arranging an electrode 4 at either face of an electrolyte membrane consisting of a gelatinous ion conductor having a sol-gel phase transition temperature, an electrolyte retention layer 3 is made intercalated between the electrolyte membrane 2 and the electrodes 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
