<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological information measuring instrument which has no oppressive feeling to a living body, excellent in environment resistance relating to a measuring instrument by which biological information such as a pulse rate can be measured. <P>SOLUTION: While a first coil 25 provided at an instrument body 10 and a second coil 31 provided at a buckle 30 are biased so as to oppose each other across the living body 60 such as the arm, a comparing means compares electromagnetic waves emitted from the second coil 31 with electromagnetic waves passing through the living body 60 and received by the first coil 25. Based on the result of this, a characteristic information generation means generates characteristic information of the living body such as the pulse rate from a signal according to the vibration and convulsion of the skin, the muscle or the blood vessel by heartbeat generated by the living body 60. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
