<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which enables the occurrence of a jam to be reduced during double-sided print processing, without prolonging a print processing time, and a control method for the image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus for forming an image on a sheet comprises a system controller 301 for transmitting/receiving image information, a memory 310 for storing the image information which is transmitted from the system controller 301, and a printer controller 302 for controlling image forming processing. The image forming apparatus enables the printer controller 302 to control the print processing on the basis of the image information which is stored in the memory 310, in the double-sided print processing mode of performing printing on the front side and back side of the sheet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
