<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing for a fluid bearing device made of resin capable of maintaining a high bearing performance for a long time by suppressing time consuming deterioration of a press fitting force with the other member. <P>SOLUTION: A housing formed of a resin composition whose compressed creep volume is 8% or less at the time of loading the surface pressure of 80 MPa for 168 hours under the atmospheric temperature of 80°C has a sufficient fixing power with the other member fixed with the press fitting force, for example, the bearing sleeve press-fitted into the housing inner periphery after using for a product life equivalent period.
