METHOD AND DEVICE FOR COMPUTING AND SETTING BYPASS CIRCUIT AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the efficient setting of a bypass circuit to a P2MP LSP, to bypass a link/node trouble in a network at a high speed, and to ensure the reliability of a communication in the multicast MPLS network.

SOLUTION: When the trouble is generated in a link just under each node connected to the LSP or a next hop router just under each node, while each node (PLR: Point of Local Repair) to which the P2MP LSP as an object to be protected passes is used as the computation main body of a bypass to the LSP; a changeover is conducted instantaneously after the trouble, and an avoidance is conducted from the trouble. The P2MP LSP for the bypass for ensuring the continuity of the communication is computed and set in this case.
