<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slimmer constitution in a pen-shaped coordinate indicator for indicating a position to be measured to a position detector, such as a tablet to measure position, and giving notice of an operator's operation. <P>SOLUTION: In an input pen 10 having a pen-shaped case 11, a ferrite core 104 with a coil 105 wound thereon and a ferrite chip 102 are disposed opposite to each other via an elastic member 103. A projection 102a is formed in the ferrite chip 102, and the projection 102a and the ferrite core 104 are moved close to each other when the input pen is operated. When the ferrite chip 102 is moved closer to the ferrite core 104 during the operation, the projection 102a is placed substantially close to the ferrite core 104. Thus, the ferrite chip 102 responds well even if the ferrite chip 102 does not proceed into the coil 105, so that there is no need to provide an opening or a cavity in the ferrite core 104. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
