PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the cause of significant deterioration in coordinate detection precision due to the shielding of projected beams which is caused by a virtual image of an indicator.
SOLUTION: A peak position caused by a gap at a joint of the corners of protection covers for a long and short sides corresponds to a cover position as a reflection boundary. Accordingly, if the peak position is made to be an end part pixel determination reference, an effective pixel range, which is not influenced by a reflected wave by a cover, can be set. An attenuation rate due to a protection cover is preliminarily grasped, and a difference between a light quantity distribution obtained by multiplying a state of no cover by the attenuation rate and a light quantity distribution when a cover (escutcheon) is actually mounted is computed to find a position of a transmitted light non-attenuation part at the gap part having no cover.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
|
