PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system enabling it to be determined whether a flashing operation is to be performed or not. SOLUTION: The printing system is equipped with a storage section for memorizing printing data, a control section for printing image in a medium by repeatedly making a head perform a delivery operation for discharging a liquid droplet from nozzles based on the printing data memorized in the storage section while making the head perform a flashing operation for compulsorily discharging the liquid droplet so that it may not impact on the medium and a determination section for determining based on the printing data, whether the flashing operation is to be performed or not.
