PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker system in which a speaker cabinet type can be changed easily and in size, and the sound quality, low-pitch sound reinforcement can be freely changed. SOLUTION: The speaker system includes a basic speaker cabinet 4 which comprises a speaker unit 1 and has a link opening, a speaker stand, capable of opening/closing the link opening, and a separate speaker cabinet 4a having a link opening. The separate speaker cabinet 4a assembles an internal structure using plates so as to modify the internal structure and the basic speaker cabinet 4, an the speaker stand and the separate speaker cabinet 4a can be separated and attached/detached. A slit is provided for fixing a plate on a side plate of the separate speaker cabinet 4a, plates of various lengths comprise projections, and the projections are inserted into the slit, so that the structure within the speaker cabinet can be modified as in assembling a block. By changing the speaker stand installing method or the internal structure of the separate speaker cabinet 4a, changes in the sound quality, low-pitch sound reinforcement and low-pitch sound tone can be performed easily.
