PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic wave waveguide of simple arrangement comparatively insusceptible to external impact. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic wave waveguide transmits an electromagnetic wave having an arbitrary frequency region between 30GHz and 30THz. The electromagnetic wave waveguide comprises a single line 101 formed of a conductor, and a dielectric member 102 covering the single line 101. An electromagnetic wave coupling portion 103 performing at least one of input and output of an electromagnetic wave may be provided at a part of an electromagnetic wave waveguide of such an arrangement.
