PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rebuilding method of an existing building, which makes a ground anchor constructed for support so that an outer peripheral beam of the existing building can be utilized as a wale for the purpose of the utilization of an outer peripheral wall as an earth retaining wall. SOLUTION: An underground structure, except the outer peripheral wall and the outer peripheral beam, of the existing building is demolished up to a fixed depth under the ground; the ground anchor is constructed in a position to utilize the outer peripheral as the earth retaining wall and utilize the outer peripheral beam as the wale; a pedestal is installed on the outer peripheral beam; the anchor is tensioned and fixed, so as to support the outer peripheral wall; the underground structure is demolished in the depth direction of the underground structure; and the ground anchor is installed by utilizing the outer peripheral beam as the wale, so as to support the outer peripheral wall.
