PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct skew of sheets and carry them without jamming or bending. SOLUTION: A sheet carrying passage R1 is constituted of a fixed guide part 110, a movable guide part 100 movable in a width direction orthogonal to a sheet carrying direction restricting a position of one side end of a sheet by a skew correction part. An auxiliary guide 117 for guiding the sheet is disposed between the fixed guide part 110 and the movable guide part 100 to be movable in the width direction. When the sheet passes through a sheet carrying passage R1, the movable guide part 100 is moved to a position depending on the size of the sheet in advance, and the auxiliary guide 117 is moved to a guide position depending on the size of the sheet in conjunction with the movement of the movable guide part 100.
