The arrangement has a mounting element (5) formed for feeding fluids, where the mounting element exhibits a transparent region. The transparent region overlaps a part of a window region (2, 7) in such a manner that optical light waves are let to pass. The window region is mounted at and/or in an aircraft skin in such a manner that the aircraft inner space is isolated from the outside atmosphere. An independent claim is also included for a method for increasing a window surface area of an aircraft.
