<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid constraint such as an increase in processes, application of an additive and an increase in control points, and prevent a collapse in unpacking glass roving. <P>SOLUTION: A region of 10 to 90% of an area of at least one of a bottom 14 and an upper surface 13 of the approximately cylindrical glass roving 11 is covered with a shrink-wrap film 20 with a thickness of 20-40 μm, thereby forming an uncovered part 13b. In addition, two or more glass roving packages 10 are packed in an array on a base. Further, a method includes a covering step of covering a region of 10 to 90% of the area of at least one of the upper surface 13 and the bottom 14 of the glass roving 11 with the film 20 for providing the uncovered part 13b, and a placing step for putting two or more obtained packages 10 on the base. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
