PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescence element using polyarylamine, and to particulary contribute to simplification in manufacturing processes, upsizing of a screen, and improvement in element performance. SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent element is composed of a pair of electrodes consisting of an anode and a cathode and one or more organic compound layers sandwiched between the anode and cathode. The organic compound layer is provided with a hole transfer layer and/or a hole injection layer, and polyarylamine having a special configuration is contained in the hole transfer layer and/or the hole injection layer.
