PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a resistor wherein its self control temperature range is within a low temperature range, however, it displays large positive resistance temperature characteristic even if it is exposed in the high temperature range. SOLUTION: The resistor uses a first crystal polymer whose melting point is in higher temperature range than maximum environment temperature, and a second crystal polymer whose melting point is near to its self control temperature by positive resistance temperature characteristic together; and a conductive refined powder reinforced with affinity is dispersed in the crystal polymer to make the resistor. Thus, the affinity reinforcement treatment for the conductive refined powder eliminates a drop in a positive resistance temperature characteristic, at the time when crystal polymers with different melting points are used together. The resistor is used, therefor, to form a positive resistance temperature characteristic resistor which demonstrates large positive resistance temperature characteristic in the self control temperature range, and withstands higher environmental temperature.
