PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate inconvenience that a DVD menu is automatically changed against user's intention, created and recorded when two or more DVD menus are selected so as to be created and recorded, and are automatically finalized. SOLUTION: An ID showing a type of a DVD menu created/recorded at the last finalization is written in beforehand. Then, when the type of the DVD menu type is not changed before the DVD is mounted and automatically finalized, the DVD menu is created/recorded according to the type shown by the above ID which is read in mounting.
