PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liftable underfloor storage formed of a cover plate and a storage body, preventing a load from applying to the storage body even if the cover plate is used as a step, and in which the cover plate can be set to a proper size as the step. SOLUTION: This underfloor storage comprises the storage body 1 and the cover plate 2 forming a part of a floor surface, and is installed under a floor at the front of a kitchen unit 4. The storage body 1 and the cover plate 2 are liftably supported by a lifter separately from each other. When the storage body 1 is used by raising it from the floor surface, the cover plate 2 is raised to the upper side of the storage body 1 and an upper surface opening 3 of the storage body 1 is opened. When the cover plate 2 is used as the step, the cover 2 is independently raised to a predetermined height. Consequently, the underfloor storage in which the cover plate 2 does not affect the storage body 1 can be provided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
