PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treatment method for stone, tile, or brick, which method is capable of preventing the surface of the stone, tile, or brick from being fouled without causing it to change in texture in spite of using a UVC coating material or an EBC coating material. SOLUTION: The surface treatment method comprises the step of coating the surface of stone, tile, or brick with an ultraviolet-curing coating material or an electron beam-curing coating material, the step of wiping off the ultraviolet-curing coating material or the electron beam coating material with which the surface of the stone, tile, or brick is coated, and the step of irradiating the surface of the stone, tile, or brick with an ultraviolet radiation or an electron beam after the wiping.
