AIR-CONDITIONER AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME

An air-conditioner and a method for controlling the same are disclosed. The air-conditioner has a specific function for providing a user with a guide to usages of the air-conditioner, such that it displays the stored user manual on the display. The user manual is displayed on the display of the air-conditioner in the form of images, and is audibly outputted via a sound output unit. The air-conditioner includes a trouble-shooting function. Therefore, if an erroneous or faulty operation occurs during the operation time of the air-conditioner, the user can properly cope with the erroneous or faulty operation of the air-conditioner using the trouble-shooting function by himself or herself.
