PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a more inexpensive and general image recognition device and an image processor using the image recognition device. SOLUTION: In the case of reading out color image data expressed by three R, G and B color components, the data are received in each pixel by a raster method. In this case, the color component data of an R signal (8 bits) and the upper 4 bits of a G signal are sent at first, and then the lower 4 bits of the G signal and a B signal (8 bits) are sent. An exclusive image data bus VD [7:0] is used for 8 bits and an address bus ADRS [7:4] is used for remaining 4 bits as signal lines to be used for image transmission. The address bus alternately provides normal address data and image data to a recognition device 5 by switching a multiplexer 10. When the address bus in not used for the device, the image data bus is used and data are divided into respective R, G, B components, which are individually sent by three times in all. |
