摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve responsivity in an engine start when an electric traveling (EV) mode is switched to a hybrid (HEV) mode. <P>SOLUTION: Driving force control is made to follow a transitional target driving force tFo based on an attainment target driving force tFo0 corresponding to the increase of an accelerator opening APO. In the case that the tFo0 cannot be attained by the EV mode at a time t1 when the APO increases, instructions to change the EV to the HEV are issued. The gradual increase of a target torque capacity tTc1 from the t1 proceeds the connection of a first clutch. After the t1, target motor torque tTm is made to be a target driving force tFo+Tc1, and, from t2, a second clutch generates slip rotation &Delta;Nc (=Nm-Ni), and then the rotational number Ne of an engine is increased by cranking. A target second clutch transmission torque capacity tTc2 is set to a value corresponding to the tFo in the EV mode, and accordingly, it is not necessary to reduce the tTc2 from a perfect connection time torque capacity Tc2max to the value corresponding to the tFo at the time t1 when the EV is changed to the HEV. Therefore, the slip start of the second clutch and the cranking start of the engine are advanced to improve responsivity to the engine start. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
