PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video apparatus or the like capable of surely and effectively informing a patient about an administration time of medicine.

SOLUTION: A television receiver 30 including a function of displaying an electronic program guide and a video/audio signal generating section 317 includes: a schedule information acquisition means 311 for acquiring schedule information associated with a prescribed item including a name or a symbol of the medicine and an administration designation date and time of the medicine; a schedule information storage section 313 for storing the acquired schedule information; an interlocking display control means 314 for controlling the video/audio signal generating section to display the schedule information in interlocking with the electronic program guide; and a notice control means 322 for applying notice control to the video/audio signal generating section to urge the patient to administer the medicine at the administration designation date and time and/or within a prescribed time before and after the administration designation date and time.
