摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism of a frictional engagement device of an automatic transmission for a vehicle capable of suppressing rise of temperature of a frictional engagement element without increasing the number of parts and dimension of the automatic transmission for the vehicle in the frictional engagement device arranging a one-way clutch and the frictional engagement element in parallel. <P>SOLUTION: In this frictional engagement device arranging the third frictional engagement element 52 and the one-way clutch 54 in parallel, a separate plate 28 of the third frictional engagement element 52 is arranged at both ends of an outer race 64 of the one-way clutch 54 to come into contact with them, and transfer speed of friction heat of the third frictional engagement element 52 becomes high because the friction heat generated at engagement time is transmitted into the outer race 64 from both ends of the outer race 64 to suppress rise of temperature of the third frictional engagement element 52 and prevent seizure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p>
