<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to remove water generated in a gas circulation passage of a fuel cell, and solve a problem that "pressure loss at the gas circulation passage is increased and power generating efficiency is worsened by applying an auxiliary apparatus like a gas-liquid separation filter". <P>SOLUTION: In the manifold 5 connecting a gas outlet part of a fuel cell stack to a gas inlet part thereof, a groove 11 is formed on a side wall face of a passage 6 in the manifold in a direction crossing a gas flowing from the gas outlet part of the stack, and a water draining port 12 is formed at lower part of the passage in the manifold so as to locate at a part lower than the part connected to the outlet side piping.
