PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power control device that performs soft start control while taking into consideration a resistance property against a load temperature and preventing a harmonic current at a specified frequency from being largely generated. SOLUTION: A control part 60 turns on the connection of a heater 27 and a commercial power supply 70 only for a preset energization time every half cycle of a voltage waveform of the commercial power supply 70 during a prescribed period for performing the soft start control. The control part 60 makes the sum of the energization time at the former half of the prescribed period shorter than the sum of the energization time at the latter half of the prescribed period.
