PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily place a housing of a headphone with a built-in secondary battery in the specified position of a dedicated charging board and also to surely connect a plurality of contacts of a charge connector on the side of the charging board with the plurality of contacts of the charge connector on the side of the headphone. SOLUTION: In the charging apparatus which charges the built-in secondary battery with the housing of the headphone placed on the charging board, the charging board has a depression for positioning the housing of the headphone. The apparatus is provided with a guide rib, a first protuberant charge connector which is moved in insertion and extraction directions of its, and a pushing piece which moves the first charge connector in the insertion and extraction directions in the depression. The housing of the headphone is provided with a second recessed charge connector and a guide groove, and when a user places the housing of the head phone in this charging board, the pushing piece is pushed by the housing of the headphone, and the first charge connector is engaged and connected with the second charge connector.
