PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transmission system in which a plurality of base stations synchronously transmit MBMS (Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service) data to mobile stations independently on a central control node that controls the plurality of base stations. SOLUTION: A data transmission system includes a communication node that manages user common data, one or more radio base stations connected to the communication nodes, and one or more mobile stations. In the present system, the one or more base stations are synchronized with an absolute time that is used in common for the plurality of base stations, respectively. The communication node includes a means for receiving one or more users from a provider, and a means for determining a timing to transmit the user common data from the one or more base stations to the mobile stations by communicating with the one or more base stations.
